I get my love of crafting from my Great Grandmother Brockman.

I was fortunate to have her in my life for 36 years.

We had an unspoken bond that only a Grandmother & Granddaughter can have.

I can proudly say she was my Best Friend.

 

 

There is a little bit of her on just about every page.

She passed down to me her Wide Array of Buttons, Thread & Notions galore!

 

When I create a page with her Beloved Treasures I always wear a smile,

wondering if it was her Master Plan to keep Creating Crafts long after she was gone.

She was a Smart Lady, oh yes she was.

 

Don't be Afraid to get our your old Singer & add a little dimension to your pages!

BitterSweet GoodBye

So today is my last ever day to Crop @ Archiver's.

Their closing is BitterSweet.

 

I am sad to not have anywhere to hang out when I am feeling down.
(Believe me...Retail Therapy works!)
 

Plus, I will miss the friends I have made there.
& getting to hang out with friends from the past that have the same passion.

I am so thankful for having made lasting friendships with new ones.
 

It's just not the same shopping for the Good Stuff @ JoAnn's, Michael's or Hobby Lobby :-(
But hopefully I will run into My Fellow Crafters on my Retail Therapy quests!

We have always joked about "Your Total Savings..."

But this is definitely the one best savings I have ever had!!!!!

And here's my stash...

 

I was able to fill the last remaining page in my Slice book with this Sports cartridge.

Originally $49.99 with a 75% off sticker + the other 75% off = $2.50!!!!

 

The Quickutz Handmade was originally $79.99 & rang up an even $20!

 

The Quickutz Blue Skies was marked $99.99.

It must have been already on sale for 25% off but just not marked,

because it rang up $18.75!

And it is really 3 alphas in 1!

 

Yeah, this is me on Cloud 9!!!

 

But then when I remember that I only got these Amazing Deals because

my very favorite Scrapbooking Store, Archiver's, is closing...

I am back on Earth.

 

Besides, I have enough stuff to last me a lifetime, right?

Snow Day Project
